Our portfolio primarily consists of utility companies (electricity, gas, and district heating in Germany and Austria) that supply green energy to end customers. To strengthen our "Trading & Supply" department, we are seeking an Electricity and Gas Portfolio Manager (m/f/d) to start as soon as possible

You have successfully completed a degree in engineering or business administration, or have a similar business qualification, and have experience in electricity and gas trading (OTC & EEX), as well as a solid understanding of the processes and procedures. - If so, we look forward to receiving your application.

Responsibilities:

• Development, implementation, and optimization of hedging strategies
• Compliance with risk guidelines / Identification and analysis of risk metrics
• Daily "Market Briefings" featuring fundamental and technical analysis.
• Spot market optimization taking into account weather forecasts and power plant availability
• Execution of trading transactions in OTC trading and the EEX Spot Market (THE & CEGH)
• Conducting evaluations and preparing reports

Qualifications:

• In-depth knowledge of the European CO2, electricity, and natural gas markets
• In-depth knowledge of technical analysis
• 3 years of professional experience in portfolio management and energy procurement
• Experience using portfolio management tools (e.g., Kisters)
• Experience with trading systems and analysis tools (e.g., Eikon, Volue, Tradesignal)
• working independently and taking personal responsibility
• Excellent analytical skills and a structured approach to work
• Fluency in spoken and written German and English
