The TÜV NORD certificate and its associated mark of approval certify that the electricity we offer comes entirely from renewable energy sources. To this end, the origin of the electricity is verified using certificates of origin in the Federal Environment Agency’s legally mandated registry. Likewise, through the TÜV NORD certification, we demonstrate that we support the further expansion of renewable energy—for example, through the operation of or investment in wind power or solar plants—and that environmental protection is fundamentally important to us. Additionally, as part of the annual certification process, the transparent and open communication of green electricity criteria to our end customers is reviewed.
