Fossil fuels and nuclear energy are finite resources. That is why we rely exclusively on renewable energy for our customers to ensure a sustainable energy future.
In Germany, more than half of the electricity already comes from renewable energy sources. However, further efforts are needed to achieve a fully carbon-neutral energy supply. To this end, we are consistently reducing our reliance on environmentally harmful resources such as coal, gas, oil, and nuclear power, and supply our customers exclusively with TÜV NORD-certified green electricity from solar, wind, and hydro power, whose CO₂ emissions are offset by climate protection projects. In addition, we invest in our own wind and solar power plants in Germany and Europe, thereby further promoting the expansion of renewable energy sources.
